In the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, Tran Gia Phuc achieved 29.25 points, scoring a perfect 10 in mathematics, 9.75 in chemistry, and 9.5 in biology. This impressive achievement was the result of his persistent daily effort, disciplined study method, and ambitious mindset.

“I don't have any special secrets. I just consistently studied every day to avoid accumulating too much work. After each class, I spent time reviewing theory and doing exercises to improve my understanding and retention. In the final phase, I focused more on taking exam papers, correcting my mistakes, and learning from each attempt. The tight study schedule and intense pressure sometimes left me exhausted, but the support from my parents and teachers always motivated me to keep going,” shared Phuc.

Besides diligence, Gia Phuc strategically developed personalized study plans tailored for each subject. For mathematics, his main subject, he prioritized solving various problem sets to familiarize himself with different types of questions, constantly exploring shorter and better solutions. Phuc recounted: “Even after finding the answer to a problem, I always searched for alternative approaches. If I got something wrong, I kept thinking and retrying until I found the correct solution.”

For chemistry, a subject that requires strong theoretical retention, Phuc used mind maps to organize and memorize theories, combined with regular practice exercises to reinforce knowledge. For biology, which involves extensive knowledge and practical application, he mastered this subject by carefully studying textbooks, answering multiple-choice questions, and exploring additional advanced resources and specialized books to enhance understanding and practical application skills.

According to Gia Phuc, grasping basic theories and foundational knowledge is essential before moving on to advanced studies and intensive practice. High scores require not only diligent study but also effective learning strategies and a thorough understanding to flexibly apply knowledge. Phuc expressed: “Among the three subjects in Combination B, mathematics is my favorite - not only because it's my main subject but also because solving math problems always gives me a unique sense of excitement. Math enhances logical thinking and sequential problem-solving skills, which fascinate me.”

Upon receiving his exam scores, Phuc had to repeatedly check his candidate number, fearing a mistake. “At that moment, happiness and pride overwhelmed me as I realized that all my hard work had finally paid off," shared Mr. Phuc.

Mr. Le Van Luan, Phuc's homeroom teacher, remarked: “From the very beginning of high school, Mr. Phuc clearly defined his goals and persistently followed his study plans. He built a scientific and reasonable study method, actively searched for learning materials, and frequently discussed with teachers and classmates to enhance his knowledge.”

Now that he has reaped the rewards of a challenging academic journey, Gia Phuc remains humble and progressive. With determination and confidence, he stated: “I think this is a good start. I have applied to the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University. Many greater challenges and goals await me, and I will continue striving to become an excellent doctor."
