| After being digitized, Sino-Vietnamese Demotic documents are displayed to viewers |
These documents are among hundreds of thousands of precious Sino-Vietnamese Demotic documents preserved in villages and private homes... collected, digitized, and processed by Thua Thien Hue General Library to exploit and promote their values.
From 2009 to the present, Thua Thien Hue General Library has produced nearly 418,000 pages of documents, equivalent to more than 5,200 types of documents. 187 villages, 923 clans, and 18 royal residences were reached to contribute to preserving the Sino-Vietnamese Demotic heritage, a valuable source of documents for the study of culture, history, economics, politics, and human rights of Thuan Hoa land in particular and the whole country in general.
In addition, the library printed and reconstructed hundreds of conferring ordinance and diplomas to serve the display, exhibition, and study of a large number of readers.

Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, said that to continue promoting this resource effectively, Thua Thien Hue General Library needs to strengthen cooperation and coordination with other agencies, units, and localities to complete the set tasks. At the same time, with available resources, it is necessary to further strengthen the work of classifying, compiling, and on-going publishing publications related to Sino-Vietnamese Demotic heritage in Thua Thien Hue.
In addition, it should focus on creating an introductory directory on the website, promoting Sino-Vietnamese Demotic heritage, and connecting with relevant units and organizations to promote research, introduction, and promotion of this unique heritage.
