Only a few days after the 2018 Lunar New Year, from February 28th to March 2nd, Hue University will receive a group of external experts specializing in training accreditation from the SHARE organization of the European Community. This is an opportunity for Hue University to assert its capabilities regionally and globally.

In a couple more months, Festival Hue 2018 officially starts, promising to bring about new elements with a highlight themed "Hue: one destination - five heritages".

Hue University had the honor to be selected by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc to visit and work on his New Year 2018 business trip. The head of the Government affirmed that a high caliber urban area of higher education in Hue will soon be invested with a full set of institutions.

According to the elders of Dien Hoa Commune (Phong Dien), the traditional profession of growing apricot flower trees started when some inhabitants of the village worked as royal officials in the Imperial City and brought the yellow apricot blossom seedlings to the village. The village has later developed into the apricot blossom village of Dien Hoa

Ceramic artist Oliver Oet, 62 years old, from Paris (France) has crossed thousands of nautical miles with his Japanese ceramic production techniques to bring new life to the disabled children at the Hue Hope Center (20 Nhat Le, Hue city).

In spite of chilly and rainy weather, a massive number of local people and visitors still attended and enjoyed the opening of the Mau Tuat (the Dog) Spring Festival 2018 on February 11 afternoon at Ly Tu Trong Park, Hue City.

On the evening of February 12, Vietnam Travel and Marketing Transports Joint-stock Company (Vietravel) and Hue Monuments Conservation Center coordinated to organize the inauguration ceremony of the Flagpole-Hue Imperial City art lighting work.
