To stimulate tourism, Hue will hold the Hue Hip-hop Festival 2020 and Hue Unicorn dance Festival 2020 at the end of this year.

The novel “Empress Dowager Tu Du" by the writer Tran Thuy Mai has won the Good Book Award 2020. The award ceremony took place on 27th September in Ho Chi Minh City.

The launching event was organized on September 26 by the Leadership Incubator and Solutions Consultancy (LISC) at the Provincial General Library to introduce and launch a book entitled “Coming home - về nhà”.

At the ancient village of Phuoc Tich, lots of villagers came to see the shooting and 30 of them were chosen to take part in the movie as extras.

The exhibition introduces to viewers 64 paintings and 1 installation artwork of a group of artists, including Tran Huu Nhat, Hoang Bao Trung, Le Huu Long, Thai Van Nguyen and Phan Vu Tuan.

The contest will find out creative ideas, unique designs to gradually build the Ao Dai brand name to contribute to making Hue become the capital of Ao Dai.

As the home to the ao dai, Hue has long been culturally featured by the ao dai. With great efforts, Hue has made the traditional ao dai part of the daily contemporary life in this city.

The Huong River, which flows into the heart of Hue city, dividing it into two; on the South Bank, Le Loi street is considered the front, the vestibule of the great Citadel.

Art and literature can be found everywhere in Hue under mossy layers, not to mention Buddhist literature at pagodas. In the digital age, those values sit still, secretly spreading their fragrance.

The restoration is implemented to create a spacious infrastructure system, ensuring the elements of aestheticism and cultural environment in the relics, being commensurate with the value and stature of Hue cultural heritages.

The artworks may be those that the landlords own, but they could also be borrowed from the artists or close friends.

Although the historical households relocation of Thuong Thanh area is not a core factor for Hue to aim for building a Heritage City, it is of great value, first of all, to restore the value of the ancient city.

Hue culture is enriched by urban culture, village culture, royal culture and folk culture, but they have not any opposition or exclusion.

Thua Thien Hue promises to become a municipality under the central government with its own set of criteria; nevertheless, the process of realizing the "Hue Dream" will certainly face many challenges.
