Viewers greatly enjoying direct paintings of natural landscapes

The exhibition introduces to viewers 64 paintings and 1 installation artwork of a group of artists, including Tran Huu Nhat, Hoang Bao Trung, Le Huu Long, Thai Van Nguyen and Phan Vu Tuan.

After days of traveling on the streets of the Central Region and visiting many places of interests, the artists recorded how they felt about the natural beauty of this region through direct art, most of which are sanctuaries & shrines, tombs and Hue people.

With acrylic & watercolor, the popular scenes of the Noon Gate, The Citadel Gate, Lang Co beach, Lap An lagoon, the ancient town, the hectic daily lifestyle, etc., leave viewers with closeness and poetic feelings through simple, open and harmoniously-colored painting style.

“With our hope of having no big deal, we use direct art just because we love our profession, history and motherland. This exhibition also carries our message that Vietnam’s land is picturesque,” shared artist Tran Huu Nhat.
