A children's bilingual book inspired by "Hue Dream" launched

HNN.VN - The launching event was organized on September 26 by the Leadership Incubator and Solutions Consultancy (LISC) at the Provincial General Library to introduce and launch a book entitled “Coming home - về nhà”. The event was participated by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, representative of the Provincial Development Research Institute, and hundreds of parents and children.

According to the Founder and CEO of the LISC, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Thuy, this is a collection of stories for children from 5 to 10 years old, which is inspired by real and close stories, and "Hue Dream - a dream of a happy land". The stories are written in a simple and lively way in English – Vietnamese bilinguals. The book with eye-catching pictures combined with the application of English listening assisted technology on each page of the book helps children read and practice foreign language skills, as well as inspiring them via the stories.

"Via this book, we want to foster children’s compassion and gratitude, connect parents with their children to develop reading culture, as well as English skills and social knowledge,” CEO of the LISC Tran Thi Thu Thuy said.

At the launching event, a series of activities for children named "Having fun with books and English" was also hold, including creating bookmarks, interacting to inspire English, and reading books, etc.
