Over 10,000 visits to Hue traditional craft and experience Space

HNN.VN - On the evening of August 4th, at Imperial Citadel night street in Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City People's Committee held the closing ceremony of the Creative Space for experiencing traditional Hue handicrafts, specialties, and cuisine.

Held over three nights from August 2nd - 4th, the Creative Space for experiencing traditional Hue handicrafts and specialties attracted 33 traditional craft establishments and villages. It featured many engaging hands-on activities, such as displaying and introducing traditional Hue handicraft products and specialties, demonstrating and experiencing traditional Hue crafts, and showcasing Ao Dai and traditional cuisine.

Residents and tourists were able to participate in event activities like experiencing sculptural arts, making Thanh Tien paper flowers, calligraphy painting, Sinh village folk painting, and enjoying traditional Hue vegetarian cuisine.

On this occasion, the Hue City People's Committee successfully organized a program to connect the supply and demand of traditional Hue handicraft products and specialties. Seven major distributors, along with 33 traditional craft establishments, specialty producers, and vegetarian restaurants in the area, connected with distributors and signed 25 memoranda of understanding to promote product consumption at the event.

This activity contributed to introducing and promoting the essence of Hue's traditional handicrafts, local specialties and cuisine, allowing visitors to experience the products of Hue traditional crafts and craft villages, connecting them with tourism.
