Hue monuments reopen to serve tourists from 13:00 on June 11, 2021

HNN.VN - On the morning of June 11, Hue Monuments Conservation Center announced that the reopening time to serve tourists visiting the relics of the complex of Hue monuments was from 13:00 on June 11, 2021.

Tourists visiting the relics have to earnestly follow 5K and other rules on pandemic prevention of the monuments

To ensure safety in the work of COVID-19 pandemic prevention, Hue Monuments Conservation Center requests local people, and tourists when visiting Hue relics must well implement “5K” (wearing face masks, disinfection, keeping the distance at least 1m, no gathering, and making health declaration), and other pandemic prevention requirements.

To ensure pandemic prevention, the center contemporarily doesn’t hold the art performances to serve tourists until having further new announcements.

As to Thai Hoa Palace, due to being in the process of conducting archaeology and preparing for the overall restoration, the center will not welcome tourists to visit this relic.

On the morning of February 10th (the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month of the Year of the Snake), under fine weather conditions, Hue Monuments Conservation Center reenacted the ceremony of setting up Neu pole (Thuong Tieu ceremony) in strict accordance with royal court rituals of the Nguyen Dynasty. The activity was part of Hue Festival 2026, attracting large numbers of locals and visitors to observe and experience the event, recreating the atmosphere of the traditional Tet holiday in the former Royal Palace.
