At the gathering, members revisited the historical significance of April 30th, 1975. The atmosphere settled into reflective moments, with shared memories of the past while evoking appreciation for the values of independence and freedom today.

The program featured activities such as a ceremonial drum performance, musical performances, and poetry exchanges. Songs about the homeland were interwoven with concise, image-rich Haiku poems, creating a simple yet emotionally resonant artistic space where memory and the present harmonized.

According to Mr. Le Ba Duc, Head of Vietnam Haiku Poetry Club - Hue Ancient Capital branch, the gathering provided an opportunity for members and poetry lovers to connect and share their passion for writing, while also promoting the value of Haiku in cultural life, particularly in association with major national commemorations.
