Award ceremony for the songwriting contest “I love Hue”

The Alliance of Arts and Literature Associations has just held a culmination ceremony of the 2022 songwriting contest with the theme "I love Hue".

Launched from March to October this year, the contest received a nationwide support with 99 submissions from 83 authors in numerous localities across the country.

The songs reflect the love of the homeland, the country and the people of Thua Thien Hue; praise the cultural and revolutionary traditions of Hue itself and its people; express the affection and respect for the achievements in the construction of a heritage city of Thua Thien Hue province.

The jury selected 10 best songs to award 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 4 consolation prizes. Specifically, "Thương màu mắt Huế" (Beloved Hue eye color) by the musician Dinh Nghi has been awarded the first prize.
