Many expectations for the Hue Digital Transformation Week 2024

The Provincial People’s Committee has just issued the Plan No. 361/KH-UBND on September 20, 2024. With the theme “AI pushes up social - economic development”, the Hue Digital Transformation Week 2024 is held to raise awareness of digital transformation across all levels, industries, and localities in building the Digital Government. Besides that, it also encourages citizen participation and emphasizes the roles, meanings, and benefits provided by the digital transformation. Furthermore, the event also creates an opportunity for state agencies and businesses to exchange and collaborate in providing digital transformation products and solutions applied AI, contributing to the digital social - economic development.

Annually held since 2021, the digital transformation week this year consists of many (planned) programs and events, including a provincial digital transformation training conference; a meeting for specialized digital transformation staff; the opening ceremony of the Exhibition & VIP Tour; the plenary session of the conference with the theme “AI – Accelerating Digital Transformation”; the special subject workshop No.1: AI in Agriculture, and other workshop session No.2: AI in Transportation.

The Hue Digital Transformation Week 2024 also features many side activities, such as an exhibition of exemplary AI solutions and platforms led and held by VINASA in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications, and the Provincial Information and Technology (HueCIT). The customers also get a chance to visit the achievements in the digital transformation of Hue implemented by HueCIT in collaboration with the Intelligent Operations Center (IOC), as well as visit Hue’s cultural heritage. This activity is led and organized by the Department of Tourism and Hue Monuments Conservation Center.

According to the plan, the contents and activities in response to the National Digital Transformation Day in the area of Thua Thien Hue province will closely follow the established theme, ensuring that they are purposeful, economical, safe, and effective; at the same time, creating a unified and comprehensive effort among state agencies, associations, businesses, and social-political organizations. It also seeks to maximize social resources to actively engage in and participate in the event.
