Lighting up Vietnam with digital transformation and green transition in the era of growth

The 2025 National Scientific Lighting Conference is an opportunity for the Vietnam Lighting Association to share annual scientific and technological activities in the field of lighting. The event attracted the interest of a great number of experts from the scientific community, policymakers, and businesses both within and outside the lighting industry, with nearly 200 delegates in attendance.

The conference featured 20 articles presented by authors and groups of authors, focusing on 6 main thematic areas, including the management and operation of public lighting in smart cities within the digital economy; trends in development, green lighting technologies, and financial and technological solutions for sustainable economic growth. Other topics included research and efficient energy use in public lighting; policies, orientations, and planning for lighting management; experiences and solutions in the digital transformation processes of localities and businesses; as well as expert insights into the management and operation of smart urban lighting systems, technological solutions, and future lighting trends.

The conference outcomes would help Vietnam Lighting Association to make recommendations and proposals to relevant authorities, aiming to guide the development of timely policies and solutions for the management and operation of Vietnam’s lighting sector.
