Performing surgeries for more than 40 patients having cleft lip and cleft palate

Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital announced on August 17th that, as part of its international cooperation activities, the university had partnered with the US-based Operation International (OI) and DCA to provide free screening and surgery for patients with cleft lip and palate.

On June 29 and 30, the Odonto - Stomatology Center at Hue Central Hospital, in collaboration with the Smile Train Vietnam, organized a comprehensive examination and consultation program for patients with cleft lip and cleft palate.

On the afternoon of June 25, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University held a graduation ceremony and awarded graduation degrees to more than 1,100 new doctors, pharmacists and bachelor's graduates from full-time program 2026. The graduates belong to the 2020–2026 and 2021/2022–2026 cohorts across a wide range of health sciences programs, marking an important milestone in their academic journey as they prepare to enter the professional healthcare workforce. ​

On June 11th, Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital, in collaboration with ReSurge International, completed a program providing surgery for maxillofacial deformities, cleft lip and palate, and craniofacial abnormalities, combined with professional training for doctors at the hospital’s Department of Plastic, Aesthetic and Maxillofacial Surgery.
