Performing surgeries for more than 40 patients having cleft lip and cleft palate

HNN.VN - Within the framework of cooperation between Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Operation International (OI), the United States, and Design Capital Asia (DCA), doctors would perform surgeries for patients with cleft lip and cleft palate from September 11 to 15.

OI representative (blue shirt) presented a symbolic sign of medical equipment to Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital 

Accordingly, there were more than 40 underprivileged patients with cleft lip and cleft palate; those with postoperative deformities of cleft lip – cleft palate, such as lip scars, lip or nose abnormalities..., having been collaboratively operated by doctors from OI, DCA and Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital at Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital.

Within the framework of cooperation, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy and the Hospital hosted a welcoming and working session with two organizations OI and DCA. In addition to cooperative surgery for patients with cleft lip and clef palate, the two organizations also conducted 3 continuous medical education (CME) in the fields of Orthopedic Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery, Anesthesia and Nursing Care for doctors and nurses at Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital.

On this occasion, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital also received medical instruments given by OI that serve the purpose of medical examination and treatment.
