It is the speech of Mr. Vu Tien Loc, President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) at the opening of the 2017 APEC Public - Private Dialogue on Women and the Economy within the framework of the APEC Women and the Economy 2017 Forum which took place in Hue on September 28.

In the framework of the "APEC Vietnam 2017" activities, on 26/9, in Hue City, 21 representatives of APEC economies attended the Policy Partnership on Women and the Economy second meeting (PPWE 2).

Identifying the activities of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC 2017) forum as a very important political, diplomatic and economic event, the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police has simultaneously implemented the measures and solutions to ensure the key security, social order and safety in the area.

Within the framework of APEC Year 2017, from September 26 to 29, Hue will host the High Level Policy Dialogue on Women and the Economy 2017 Forum of 21 APEC economies. Thua Thien Hue province have provided preparation and coordination to welcome this great event.

On August 29, Director of the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam- Mr. Ando Toshiki had a working meeting with Deputy Chairman of provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dung on co-operation to develop teaching Japanese in schools in Thua Thien Hue province and introducing Japanese teaching associates coming to work in Hue.

It was the content of the forum on “Innovating, Technique Improving, Capacity Enhancing to Access the Industrial Revolution 4.0”, co-organized by the Department of Science and Technology and the Provincial Business Association on August 26.
