Hue Monuments Conservation Centre cooperating with ‘Site and Space in Southeast Asia’ in doing research

This is the research cooperation between Hue Monuments Conservation Centre and “Site and Space in Southeast Asia” – an international anthropology research cooperation program which supports the creative research into art and architectural history in the region.

“Site and Space in Southeast Asia” researches and focuses on collating issues related to the changes in historical ecology of three metropolises of three different countries in Southeast Asia including Hue (Vietnam), Penang (Malaysia) and Yangon (Myanmar).

In Hue, the members of research delegation shared among themselves the research characteristics of each expert on several topics that have the deep views about the space development in Hue city and the surrounding area, especially the landscape changes of the surrounding forests and water infrastructure of the city from the 19th, 20th centuries up to now.
