Hue Flagpole art lighting system handed over

HNN.VN - On the evening of August 10, at Phu Van Lau, Hue city, Hue Monuments Conservation Center and Vietnam Travel and Marketing Transports Joint-stock Company (Vietravel) jointly held the hand-over ceremony of Hue Flagpole art lighting system project. This is an activity within a series of strategic activities, which are divided into several phases of the “Hue- Brightening and Living” project.

The project of Holy Cannons firing and Flagpole art lighting work has been piloted since February 2018, with more than 1,000 decorative led lights, creating brilliant colors at night. The project gives visitors the opportunity to enjoy one of the ancient activities of Nguyen Emperors, with a cannon firing performance on the Flagpole.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky, Board Chairman, General Manager of Vietravel said, "By this work, we would like to contribute an additional tourist product at night to Hue. This is also Vietravel’s initial product in the investment in Hue in the coming time”.

Capturing the moment the Flagpole turning into other colors

Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Center added that along with the Flagpole lighting system, the Center was trying to illuminate the entire Imperial Citadel. In the near future, the entire north bank of the Huong River, such as Nghinh Luong Dinh, Phu Van Lau, the Flagpole, Ngo Mon (the Noon Gate) and the ​​Hue Imperial City will brighten at night.
