The two parties signed the memorandum

Under the memorandum, both sides will collaborate on several key activities, including research on endoscopic ultrasound, organization of specialized workshops and scientific conferences, as well as training programs aimed at enhancing the skills of medical personnel. Notably, FUJIFILM Vietnam will provide research equipment, sponsor scholarships for gastrointestinal endoscopy training courses, and supply the advanced MIKOTO endoscopy simulation model throughout the training period.

MIKOTO is a high-fidelity endoscopy training simulator developed by FUJIFILM. It allows doctors to practice on anatomically accurate models that closely resemble real human structures. The system also integrates real-time feedback and objective skill analysis, helping trainees improve their learning outcomes, clinical reflexes, and real-world decision-making capabilities.

In addition, FUJIFILM Vietnam will also sponsor a two-year maintenance package for the entire endoscopy system at Hue Central Hospital’s Endoscopy Center. Looking ahead, both sides plan to organize advanced international training courses on endoscopic ultrasound in partnership with Kyoto Miniren Central Hospital (Japan) and Rajavithi Hospital (Thailand), scheduled for Quarter 4/2025 and Quarter1/2026.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Pham Nhu Hiep, Director of Hue Central Hospital, emphasized: "This partnership with FUJIFILM brings tangible value in training, research, and technological application, contributing to improved diagnostic and treatment quality. It also moves us closer to our goal of building a specialized Endoscopy Center with national and international influence".

On the side of FUJIFILM Vietnam, General Director Mamoru Morota stated that the collaboration with Hue Central Hospital not only reflects strategic trust but also represents an important step toward integrating cutting-edge medical technology into real-world treatment in Vietnam.

On this occasion, ETC Medical Equipment Company - the official distributor of FUJIFILM endoscopy systems and other globally recognized brands donated several gastrointestinal endoscopy devices to Hue Central Hospital, supporting early cancer diagnosis and treatment.
