Developing expertise for doctors specialized in gastrointestinal surgery and oncology in Central region

HNN.VN - In the framework of cooperation with the French Embassy in Hanoi, from April 4 to 5, 2014, Hue Central Hospital (HCH) cooperates with French Medical Universities to hold post-graduate training course in the field of gastrointestinal surgery, oncology and endoscopic surgery with the topic "Cancer surgery".

Prof. Dr. Jean Robert Delpero from France is carrying out the seminars of the course

Participating in the training course are more than 50 doctors specialized in gastrointestinal surgery and oncology at central and provincial hospitals in the Central region and the 6th year students of Duy Tan University, Danang.

At the seminar, two professors Dr. Jean Robert Delpero and Muriel Mathonnet from France have supported and shared topics on cancer detection; quality standards for writing anatomical records and surgery records; clinical research methods; consultation, palliative treatment; adjuvant treatment and neoadjuvant treatment; cancer endoscopic surgery and how to inform patients...

After the course, participants are granted certificates of advanced knowledge which is certified by lecturers from France. This certificate aimed at assessing professional development capacity to have a basis for selecting resident doctors in France in the coming time.
