Many new demand stimulus packages

After a period of being temporarily closed to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic, Alba Thanh Tan Hot Spring (Phong Son, Phong Dien) has reopened to visitors from August 21. In order to stimulate the demand of visitors to travel and relax, the entrance fee is reduced to VND 200,000 per person, including hot bath services, visiting to craft villages, farms, and sika deer garden, “checking-in” at the suspension bridge, and playing Zipline. Regarding overnight staying, deep promotion is applied with the price of only VND 990,000 per night, including services and special bonuses with food vouchers valued at VND 500,000.

At Lapochine Beach Resort (Thuan An, Phu Vang), it has launched the "Second Home" program. A representative of the resort informed that aiming to ensure the safety in the pandemic prevention, its staffs spray the resort with disinfectant twice a day; guests are required to wear face mask and have temperature checked. The new accommodation rates are applied at VND 1.8 million per night per deluxe room; this program is applied exclusively for guests from the Central region. With a cool, secluded, windy, and close to nature space, the resort is expected to be a suitable place for visitors and their families to avoid the pandemic.

Meanwhile, Vedana Lagoon Resort & Spa (Phu Loc Town, Phu Loc) has applied the program called "It is not too late for summer vacation", with the promotion room price is at only VND 550,000 per person per night, including breakfast. The Pilgrimage Village Boutique Resort & Spa (Minh Mang Street, Hue City) launches an even more attractive promotion, with the room price is at only VND 450,000 per person per night, including breakfast and amenities.

Ms. Le Thi Da Lam, General Manager of Vedana Lagoon Resort & Spa and Pilgrimage Village Boutique Resort & Spa said that difficulty was something that had happened, but if the enterprise did not stimulate the demand and attract guests, the enterprises would prolong that difficulty. Though there may not be a lot of visitors traveling and the economic profit may be equal to zero, it is important for the enterprise to support employees to get jobs, earn income, and aim to stabilize their lives.

Laguna Lang Co also said that the resort had just launched the "SafeSanctuary" program, an integrated one for health and well-being, including new strict safety and hygiene protocols and standards. With the primary goal is to create a "safe sanctuary" to improve the quality of life and vacations for visitors, creating memorable moments, temporarily forgetting tired moments, as the pandemic is complicated in the world, and aiming to serving guests when it is under control.

At this time, sea tourism is still attracting visitors

Absolutely not be subjective

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Tourism, said that Hue has not had a COVID-19 case so far after the second outbreak, and there are no restrictions on visitors to tourist destinations. This is the premise for tourist spots to welcome and serve visitors. As the pandemic is being controlled and Hue gradually returns to the new normal state, tourism activities are encouraged to restart and enterprises need to take initiative in solutions so as to have the second stimulus.

“The destinations and accommodation establishments can adapt to open to visitors based on safety and pandemic prevention criteria according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health and Hue tourism industry; especially, the thorough and adequate application of the set of safety tourism criteria issued by the Provincial People's Committee previously. The tourism industry's point of view is to encourage the enterprises to welcome visitors back via good models, targeting on small group visitors, but not being subjective, and neglecting, especially as the pandemic has more unpredictable development,” Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc confirmed.

Also according to the leader of the tourism industry, due to domestic visitors’ anxiety about the pandemic, the enterprises should focus on the visitors within the province in the immediate future. In the coming time, the tourism industry will orient and encourage enterprises to offer promotions and stimulus with the priority to "Hue people travel within Hue", especially at the end of August and the National Day holiday (September 2) this year.

“For visitors within the province, it is necessary for them not to be subjective to the pandemic, but not to be over-worried and miss the opportunity to relax, explore and experience the attractions of the destinations, and the preferential services of the tourism industry,” Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc said.

The pandemic is gradually being under control; the initiative of enterprises in attracting visitors within the province and then within the country in the recent time is vital in the recovery of Hue tourism soon.
