Special deals to attract tourists

On May 5, following the directives of the City People’s Committee and in line with Resolution 55/2025/NQ-HĐND, Hue Monuments Conservation Center announced a pilot program to verify eligibility for the beneficiaries of reduced heritage entrance fees via the e-ticketing system.

Following the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day, Hue continues to see a surge in visitors during the April 30 - May 1 holiday, with occupancy rates at many accommodation establishments are near full capacity. The influx has pushed the tourism sector and businesses to ramp up efforts to ensure both service quality and flexible management of operations, heading to the goals of enhancing visitor experiences and reaching industry development.

Today’s travelers are no longer content with “travel for seeing”. Instead, they seek deeper experiences, more authentic connections with the places they visit. On the evening of April 25, the “Mystical Imperial Palace” art program will officially launch at Hue Imperial Citadel, kicking off a series of engaging activities within the framework of Hue Festival 2026. The program will run from April 25 to 28, starting at 8:00 p.m. every night, and it will be free of charge for both residents and visitors.

The tourism market on the occasion of Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day and the April 30th – May 1st holiday in 2026 began heating up as early as the beginning of March. Unlike previous years, travelers are increasingly booking earlier and favoring short-haul trips over long-haul experiential journeys.
