"Lang Co – the World Beautiful Bay" festival held on May 16 -17

HNN.VN - The People's Committee of Phu Loc district said that the "Lang Co – the Beautiful World Bay" festival in 2019 will be held on May 16 -17, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Lang Co being recognized as a beautiful bay in the world.

On June 6, 2009, Lang Co, along with Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh) and Nha Trang Bay (Khanh Hoa), were awarded the title of the world's most beautiful bays by the “World’s Most Beautiful Bays” club (Worldbays). After 10 years, Lang Co tourism continues to grow, becoming a favorite destination of tourists when coming to Central Vietnam.

The "Lang Co – the Beautiful World Bay" festival in 2019 is an occasion to honour the landscape and ecological environment of Lang Co bay; at the same time, affirming the position and development potential of Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone; thereby, aiming to build Lang Co tourism brand of national and international level, attracting more and more domestic and foreign investors.

It is known that in the framework of the "Lang Co – the Beautiful World Bay" festival in 2019, many events including music and dance performances, traditional boat racing, sports tournaments, culinary space, folk games, exhibitions and other community activities will be taken place.
