Hue wins 2 prizes in “Vietnam’s Top 7 Impression 2022”

HNN.VN - On the evening of April 1, at Thanh Toan titled-roof Bridge (Thuy Thanh commune, Huong Thuy Town), the Department of Tourism coordinated with Huong Thuy Town and Saigon Tiep Thi Newspaper organized a ceremony to announce the results of “Vietnam’s Top 7 Impression 2022” and launch the vote for “Vietnam’s Top 7 Impression 2023”.

The vote for “Vietnam’s Top 7 Impression” is launched by Saigon Tiep Thi Newspaper to elicit and spread the tourism desire of people nationwide.

With the motto “New Discovery – New Experience”, the organizing unit carried out the program “Vietnam’s Top 7 Impression 2022” with 5 categories including unique architectural works, ecotourism destinations, magical waterfalls, tourism destinations with impressive landscapes, and unexpected scenic views seen from above.

The organizing committee informed that the program received 220 recommendations and over 25.000 votes made by readers. The final results selected 35 destinations in “Vietnam’s Top 7 Impression 2022”.

Thua Thien Hue province has 2 destinations in the Top 7 mentioned above, which are Hon Vuon Mountain (belongs to Huong Tra town), named in the Top 7 of destinations with unique beautiful landscapes in 2022, and Ru Cha mangrove forest (belongs to Hue City) in Top 7 of unexpected beautiful scenic views seen from above in 2022.

At the ceremony, the organizing committee continued to launch the vote for “Vietnam’s Top 7 Impression 2023” with 5 categories including Top 7 of impressive tourism experiences, Top 7 of unique architectural works, Top 7 of ecotourism destinations, Top 7 of destinations with impressive landscapes, and Top 7 of unexpected scenic views seen from above.

At the announcement ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Director of the Department of Tourism desired that through this competition, the professional photographers and those in love with photography would come to Hue to discover and “hunt” for the gorgeous photos of heritages and relics; as well as that of natural beautiful landscapes such as beaches, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, hills, mountains, national parks, primeval forests, salt-marsh forests; traditional and contemporary architectural works in the central and rural areas carrying high artistic and design values, etc. Hence, upgrading the ability of image promotion, contributing to attracting more tourists coming to Hue in the coming time.
