Hue has 3 enterprises winning The Guide Awards 2017-2018

HNN.VN - As the information from the Department of Tourism on October 26 revealed, at the 19th The Guide Awards organized by Vietnam Economic Times, Hue had 3 units to be honored.

Accordingly, the 3 units won the 2018 The Guide Award included La Résidence Hotel receiving the Execellent Performance of Services and Products award; Saigon Morin Hue Hotel receiving the Outstanding hotel of the year award and Hue Cua Ta (Our Hue) Co., Ltd. receiving the Royal Dining Service award for its cuisine service at QHouse Restaurant and on Emperor Dragon Boat.

The Guide Awards is a prestigious award organised by the Vietnam Economic Times and The Guide magazine. Since its first launch in 1999, The Guide Awards has become one of the most prestigious travel awards and is sponsored by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, and the Vietnam Economic Science.

This festival honored 110 brands in 4 groups of products and travel services, voted by readers of The Guide - the leading publication for visitors to Vietnam, belongings to the group of publications of the Vietnam Economic Times. 110 brands that have contributed positively to the development of Vietnam's tourism industry in 2017-2018 were honored, especially those with investment and breakthroughs in applying technology.

Brands in 4 groups of products and travel services includes Hotels & Serviced Apartments, Resorts, Restaurants & Services, Tours & Transportation.

On the afternoon of March 5th, Hue City People's Committee held its regular press conference for February 2026. The event was chaired by Chief of the Office of the City People’s Committee Hoang Viet Cuong; Deputy Director of the Department of Finance Tran Cong Thich Vuong; and Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports Nguyen Huy Hien. ​

Hue’s Tourism Revenue in the First Two Months Increases Nearly 99%

According to statistics from the Department of Tourism released on the morning of March 1, the number of tourists to Hue in the first two months continued to rise sharply, estimated at over 1.2 million arrivals, while the number of visitors to the city in February, 2026 alone witnessed an increase of nearly 72%. Especially, the total revenue from tourism rose significantly compared to the previous year.
