Hue expected to welcome 105,000 visitors during Hung Kings' Commemoration Day

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of April 4, information from the Department of Tourism said that, based on the assessment of visitor arrivals to Hue during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, the number of visitors to Hue City is forecast to increase sharply.

Specifically, the number of visitors to Hue City over 4 days (from April 4 to April 7, 2025) is projected to be approximately 105,000. Among these, it is estimated that 38,000 will be overnight stays, with hotel room occupancy rates reaching approximately 85% during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day in 2025. Notably, pre-booked room occupancy for Friday evening (April 5) is nearly 95%, and for Saturday evening (April 6), it is close to 90%. Tourism revenue is projected to reach 214 billion VND.

The tourism sector, travel agencies, and hotels have prepared plans to welcome visitors, focusing on enhancing service quality and tourism products. Ahead of the holiday, accommodation establishments have also conducted training to improve staff service quality, refreshed food menus, and introduced appropriate promotional programs to attract visitors.
