The organization board awards the first prize for Le Anh Thi, the author (third from the right)
After 6 month of launching (from July to December 2018) the contest received 642 works of 41 authors including professional and amateur photographers from many provinces all over the country.
The organization board selected 50 quality works, meeting the regulations of the contest to award prizes; these works will be also displayed in the coming Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2019.
The works honestly reflect the economic, cultural and social life of Hue, as well as the heritages, Tam Giang lagoon, village landscapes, the friendliness and the daily life of local people in traditional craft villages, etc.

The work “Friendly” wins the first prize of the contest
According to the results, the voting prize on Fan page of Tourism Department belongs to the work “Imperial Palace in a rainy night” of Tran Nhu Dang Tuyen, the photographer. There are three third prizes including the work “Memories” of Hoang Xuan Duc, the photographer, the work “Drying rattan bamboo products in Bao La” of Nguyen Trung Thành, the photographer and the work “Happy day” of Nguyen Van Dung, the photographer. There are 2 works wining the second prizes including the work “the dawn on Lang Co” of Nong Thanh Toan, the photographer and the work “Trapping Tam Giang mynah birds” of Le Tan Thanh, the photographer.
The first prize of the contest belongs to the work “Friendly” of Le Anh Thi, the photographer coming from Ha Tinh. The award for the work winning the first prize includes 5 million and one night at Laguna Lang Co resort.
The contest “Beautiful Photos for Thua Thien Hue Tourism 2018” aims to introduce and promote the images of the special land, people, culture and tourism of Thua Thien Hue province to international and domestic tourists; encouraging and honoring the authors creating the new and unique works about the sceneries, traditional culture and people of Thua Thien Hue; creating the attractiveness and the desire to experience and explore Thua Thien Hue of domestic and international tourists. After this contest, the Tourism Department will use the winning works in the work of promoting and introducing destinations in the coming time.
