The generation of national literary writers born in the Year of the Snake in Hue left a notable mark with many respected authors. Each one brought their own distinctive qualities, enriching and beautifying the literature of the region, making the cultural identity of Hue even stronger. This became even clearer and stronger when Hue became a centrally governed city.

In the space of Hue French Institute at No.1 Le Hong Phong Str, the famous French fiction writer Bernard Werber had an exchange with the readers of the ancient capital and introduced two of his favorite works: “Ant Trilogy” and “Pandora’s Box”.

The Provincial Union of Literature and Arts Associations organized a program to award and honor writers and artists on the morning of December 27th 2023 to honor writers and artists who have won international, domestic, regional, annual awards of the Union of Arts and Literature Associations, or other prestigious national awards.

The Vietnam Writers Association has just announced the 2022 Literary Prize for 5 authors and the Young Author Award for 3 authors. Le Vu Truong Giang was honored to win the Young Author Award in 2022 in the prose category with the book "Bac mau ao ngu" (Faded royal costumes).

On the afternoon of December 29, the Union of Literature and Arts held a program to honor artists and award excellent literature and art works in 2022.
