On the morning of June 8, the Department of Education and Training held a training conference on examination administration procedures for the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination for school administrators and teachers serving as heads and deputy heads of the examination centers, and secretaries from 37 examination venues across the city.

On June 4, a delegation from Hue City, led by Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, had a conference to meet with Chinese tourism businesses and investors in Beijing, China. The delegation also had the participation of representatives from Hue City Department of Tourism and Hue Center for Investment Promotion, Trade, and Enterprise Support.

More than 142 visually impaired women have received vocational training, and over 68,000 gift packages have been distributed; these were among the notable achievements highlighted at the conference reviewing 10 years of implementing the coordinated support program for visually impaired women (2016 - 2026 period), and the five-year review of the Compassionate Homes program, held on the morning of June 2 at the City Association of the Blind.

Hue is famous for the Perfume River, Mount Ngu, the Citadel, royal tombs, pagodas, and noble residences, but Hue is also well known for its gardens. In Hue, gardens soften architecture, calm the everyday life, deepen poetry, and create a unique urban style: a garden city, a city of poetry, the harmony between man and nature, or “an urban poem” as said by M’Bow, former Director-General of UNESCO.

A consultation workshop on finalizing policies to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) was jointly organized on May 18th by the Agency for Private Enterprise and Collective Economy Development under the Ministry of Finance and the International Labor Organization.

On the morning of May 18th, at Hue Central Hospital, Vietnam Health Workers’ Union, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, held a ceremony to launch Workers’ Month 2026 and implement the emulation movement “Health Workers' Union accompanying the health of workers in the period 2026-2030”.

On May 16, leaders of Long Quang Commune promptly visited, encouraged residents, and deployed forces to help 4 households in Rung Ghenh Village re-roof their homes and clean up gardens damaged by the tornado.

On the afternoon of May 13th, the Women’s Union, in coordination with the Youth Union of Thuy Xuan Ward and sponsoring units, organized the launch ceremony for the “Kitchen of Love” model and signed a partnership program to support gas stoves for poor households, near-poor households, policy beneficiary families, and disadvantaged households in the ward.

On the morning of May 3, the City Red Cross Society, in coordination with the People’s Committee of An Cuu Ward, held the ceremony to launch the “Humanitarian Month” 2026 under the theme “80 years - A Journey of Compassion for the Community”.

From April 22 to 24, the Zhi Shan Foundation, in collaboration with the Social Work and Child Protection Center, and local authorities, organized scholarship award ceremonies for studious students overcoming difficulties across the city.
