Vietnam in the post-war years, the old streets of Hanoi and Saigon in the early 1970s, and the simple rhythms of life during the country's early years of economic reform are vividly brought to life through 27 remarkable photographic works by three French artists at the exhibition “Vietnam Crossroads”, which opened on the afternoon of June 13th.

Held under the theme “Flow of Heritage”, the first O Ly Artshow officially opened on the evening of June 6 at Hue Book and Cultural Space (23-25 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward), on the banks of the Perfume River, attracting the participation of a large number of artists and art enthusiasts.

On the evening of June 5th, the Organizing Committee of the 2026 People's Public Security Military, Martial Arts and Sports Festival - Region II held a public exchange and parade program for residents and visitors along major streets in Hue City.

On June 4, the Organizing Committee of the People’s Public Security Military, Martial Arts and Sports Games 2026 - Region II announced that public interaction activities would be held along several central city streets following the preliminary rehearsal and final rehearsal on the evenings of June 4 and June 5.

Under the theme “Flow of Heritage”, the first-ever O Ly Art show will officially open at Hue Book and Cultural Space (23-25 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward) on June 6, ushering in a new artistic platform for the artist community in Central Vietnam.

Inside a workshop thick with the scent of cement on Lai The Street (My Thuong Ward), there is a craftsman who remains devoted, day after day, to the meticulous work of casting bonsai pots. He is Nguyen Van Nhan, 53 years old, with 15 years of experience dedicated to creating pots tailored specifically for bonsai artworks.

At a small workshop on Chi Lang Street, artisan Do Huu Triet is experimenting with new applications of Phap lam. A brass violin stands out as his boldest creation, reflecting his aspiration to bring traditional materials into innovative and unconventional forms.

On those days, visitors to Diem Phung Thi Art Space (No. 17 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward) can easily bump into the exhibition space titled “A Luoi Traditional Cultural Identity”.

Dozens of paintings, considered rare treasures by generations of Hue’s renowned artists, have just been unveiled to the public. These works are now displayed at Lebadang Art Space of the Hue Museum of Fine Arts (No.15 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward). The 75 pieces showcased in this exhibition belong to an art collection that the Museum has patiently and devotedly gathered over many years.

The Trinh Cong Son Park, located on the street named after him, is a way for the people of Hue to honor the immense contributions of this talented musician. It is not only a space of artistry but also one imbued with a message of peace.
