On the afternoon of January 6, Hue Central Hospital (HCH) reported that they had performed a rigid esophagoscopy to remove a sharp-pointed piece of pig bone for a 26 year-old man. This complicated emergency case required the quick, precise, and skillful intervention of the medical team.

As a “pillar of the community” with over 40 years of experience, Nguyen Ha (Giang Hai, Phu Loc) is not only revered for his deft hands but also respected by fellow fishermen for his dedication to the craft of net weaving and his journeys on the open sea.

The art of making reliefs appeared in Hue thousands of years ago. It flourished brilliantly in the 17th century along with copper casting and Hue porcelain mosaics on the complex of relics in Hue ancient capital. In the 21st century, painters and skillful artisans in Hue contributed to the development of the art.

On September 30th, Hue Central Hospital organized a Pediatric Endocrinology training course for 30 doctors of the unit and medical facilities. Also attending the training course were professors and doctors from Toulouse University and Lille University (France).
