To ensure the health and safety of candidates participating in and those involving in the High School Graduation Examination this year, the City’s Department of Health has rolled out a series of measures covering healthcare services, disease prevention and control, and food safety during the exam period.

This is the theme of the Action Month for Children 2026, launched by the People's Committee of Thanh Thuy Ward on the morning of June 4. The program aims to raise awareness and strengthen the responsibility of authorities at all levels, sectors, families, and society as a whole in caring for, educating, and protecting children.

On June 2nd, the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with Care for Children organization, held a working session on the implementation of a project to strengthen family-based alternative care for children in special circumstances during the 2026 - 2028 period in Hue. The program is expected to help improve the effectiveness of child protection and care efforts, enabling children to live in safe, stable, and loving family environments.

On the evening of May 29, at Bao Vinh Ancient Town (Hoa Chau Ward), the City People's Committee organized the launching ceremony for the Action Month for Children 2026 under the theme “Happy and safe children confidently stepping into the digital era”.

The training course on implementing the “Safe Swimming and Drowning Prevention” Program 2026, organized by the city’s Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the Vietnam Sports Administration (the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), officially opened on the morning of April 17 at 12 Hung Vuong Street (Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City).

On the morning of April 9th, the Red Cross Society of Hue, in coordination with local authorities of Vinh Loc Commune, held a groundbreaking ceremony to build houses for poor fishermen under the “Safety for Poor and Disadvantaged Fishermen” program, launched by Vietnam Red Cross Society.

On April 1st, the Traffic Police Division of Hue City Police reported that it had promptly received information, verified the case, and assisted two foreign tourists in recovering their misplaced property, ensuring a quick, safe, and regulation-compliant process. ​

At exactly 7:00 p.m. on March 15th, polling stations across Hue City simultaneously closed for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and members of People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. The election was conducted in a serious, democratic, safe, and legal manner.

On March 14, in Da Nang City, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), in collaboration with the National Traffic Safety Committee and Honda Vietnam Company, organized the closing and awarding ceremony for the “Traffic Safety” Contest for the academic year 2025 - 2026, held for primary, secondary, and high school students and teachers nationwide.

Recently, the tourism industry has coordinated with functional units to strengthen management work, pay attention to tourists' feedback to promptly handle many violations.
