On the morning of February 11 (December 24th in the Year of the Snake), at the courtyard of the Thai Hoa Palace (Hue Imperial Citadel), the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre organized a reenactment of the Nguyen Dynasty’s Imperial New Year court ceremony. The event attracted large numbers of local residents and visitors, helping to recreate the traditional Lunar New Year atmosphere within the historic royal court setting.

On the evening of February 11 (the 24th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Snake), in the shimmering garden setting of the Royal Treasury Palace, Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized the “Royal Tet” program, opening a spring celebration space rich in ancient royal tradition. Being held over two nights, February 11 and 12, the program attracted a large number of locals and visitors.

On the morning of February 10th (the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month of the Year of the Snake), under fine weather conditions, Hue Monuments Conservation Center reenacted the ceremony of setting up Neu pole (Thuong Tieu ceremony) in strict accordance with royal court rituals of the Nguyen Dynasty. The activity was part of Hue Festival 2026, attracting large numbers of locals and visitors to observe and experience the event, recreating the atmosphere of the traditional Tet holiday in the former Royal Palace.

The heritage space of Hue’s Imperial Citadel is being retold in a new language, the language of technology. At the Royal Treasury Palace, stories of the past are no longer meant solely to be observed, but also to be touched, listened, and experienced, opening up a gentle, emotionally resonant way of engaging with the heritage of Hue Ancient Capital.

On the afternoon of December 18, at the Ruong House space - the Royal Treasury Palace (Hue Imperial Citadel), Hue Monuments Conservation Center, in collaboration with Phygital Labs, officially launched the Culture - Heritage - Technology Experience Space.

On May 22nd, during his working visit to Vietnam, Director of the UNESCO World Heritage Center, Lazare Eloundou Assomo, toured several heritage sites in Hue including the Imperial Citadel, the Museum of Royal Antiquities, and An Dinh Palace to conduct a field survey and learn about the management, conservation and promotion of World Cultural Heritage values ​​in the locality.

Visitors and culture and history enthusiasts visiting Hue Imperial Citadel should not miss an exhibition space featuring the “Great Royal costume of the Annam court” painting collection at the East wing of Thai Hoa Palace.

On January 22nd, at Truong Sanh Palace in Hue Imperial Citadel, locals and visitors were delighted in experiencing the traditional Tet atmosphere within the royal Palace.

The project "Preservation, renovation, restoration of Tu Duc Mausoleum", including Dien Hoa Khiem (Royal palace for worship and ceremonies), Minh Khiem Duong (Ceremonial pavilion), On Khiem Duong (Pavilion for royal functions), rampart, gate, and screen wall is being implemented by the Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC).

Taking place from June 22nd to July 21st at Kien Trung Palace, Royal Palace - Hue Imperial Citadel, the exhibition “Antiques Gathering” is organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Antiquities Association and several domestic collectors.
