According to statistics from the Department of Tourism released on the morning of March 1, the number of tourists to Hue in the first two months continued to rise sharply, estimated at over 1.2 million arrivals, while the number of visitors to the city in February, 2026 alone witnessed an increase of nearly 72%. Especially, the total revenue from tourism rose significantly compared to the previous year.

According to the information announced on the afternoon of February 14 by the Department of Tourism, the number of hotel bookings for the 9-day Binh Ngo Lunar New Year holiday is projected to increase by 53% year-on-year.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has just announced the 2024 environmental protection rankings (covering 63 provinces and centrally governed cities before administrative mergers) based on the PEPI Index.
