As Lunar New Year is coming to town, public spaces throughout the heart of Hue City are slowly turning into spring destinations for both residents and visitors. These days, Hue Green Parks Center is putting the finishing touches on its preparations, bringing fresh and vibrant spring colors to the city’s public spaces.

On the morning of February 5, at the Secret Affairs Institute - Tam Toa Complex (No. 33 Tong Duy Tan Street, Phu Xuan Ward), Hue Monuments Conservation Center officially opened a thematic exhibition titled “Horses and the Long Ma in Nguyen Dynasty Royal Culture” (Long Ma: dragon-horse), offering the public a culturally rich and profound exhibition space in the early days of Lunar New Year.

On the morning of February 1, at the space located at 23-25 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward, Thuan Hoa Ward Public Service Center, in coordination with Hue Book and Culture Club, organized the “Thuan Hoa - Binh Ngo 2026” Festival under the theme “Dung dang dung de - Welcoming Spring in Joy and Good Health”.

On the first day of 2026, sunny weather set a serene and poetic tone in Hue. Both visitors and residents took time to savor the city’s unhurried, gentle pace. Beyond its famed heritage sites, spiritual and cultural spaces, parks, and public recreation areas were bustling with visitors.

Dozens of paintings, considered rare treasures by generations of Hue’s renowned artists, have just been unveiled to the public. These works are now displayed at Lebadang Art Space of the Hue Museum of Fine Arts (No.15 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward). The 75 pieces showcased in this exhibition belong to an art collection that the Museum has patiently and devotedly gathered over many years.

From October 14 to 18, 2025, Chu Van An Secondary School (Vy Da Ward) in collaboration with Hue Books & Culture Club organized an exhibition and a Poster & Public Speaking Contest with the theme “Say No to School Violence” at Hue Books & Culture Space, located at 23-25 Le Loi Street, Hue City.

On the morning of September 18, Hue City Union of Literature and Arts Associations held an inauguration ceremony for Hue Literature and Arts Memorial Space at No.1 Phan Boi Chau St., Hue City.

More than 100 works by 41 renowned artists inspired by the literary legacy of Nguyen Huy Thiep were unveiled to the Hue public on the afternoon of July 5th at the Lan Vien Co Tich space (95-96-98 Bach Dang Street, Phu Xuan Ward).

In the framework of the book fair opening on the morning of April 19 at the Thuan Hoa Publishing House space (33 Chu Van An Street, Thuan Hoa District), Thuan Hoa Publishing House collaborated with Truong Phuong book to introduce hundreds of valuable books across various fields to the public and readers.

A unique cultural space has just been introduced at Duyet Thi Duong Theater (Hue Imperial Citadel), drawing the attention of the public and tourists: the Exhibition Space for Hue Royal Classical Drama Masks.
