The exhibition, organized by Hue City Library, opened on the morning of March 11 as part of a series of activities aimed at widely promoting the significance and importance of the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.

Over 200 students from secondary schools in Thuan Hoa Ward (Hue City) took part in an educational event promoting knowledge about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, as well as communication activities related to the 2025 Family Development Strategy.

Along with innovations in investment promotion activities, the government’s support in promoting projects acts like a “magnet” attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises to Thua Thien Hue (now known as Hue City) (*).

On the afternoon of November 8th, the Department of Science and Technology, in coordination with the Department of Tourism, organized the forum themed “Promoting investment activities and open innovation in the province’s tourism industry”.

The two sides will coordinate to organize festival activities, cultural exchanges, sports, art performances, displays and exhibitions to celebrate major holidays and important events in the two localities, thereby promoting the culture and images of theirs.

Strongly improving the investment and business environment has been helping Thua Thien Hue gain a competitive advantage, and attract domestic as well as foreign investments. This also presents an opportunity and favorable conditions for the province to continue promoting investment activities with a strategic focus.

Among the traditional handicrafts, the nón lá (conical hat) has become a cultural specialty for tourists when visiting Hue. It is necessary to have a suitable direction for restoring and further promoting the craft of making conical hats through community-based tourism activities.

Participating in the festival, Hue tourism industry focused on promoting its events and festivals of this year; especially the Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023 and a series of activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Complex of Hue Monuments and the 20th anniversary of Hue Royal Court Music recognized as the world’s cultural intangible heritage.
