On June 22nd, Hue Central Hospital announced that patient P.M.D. (41 years old, residing in My Thuong Ward, Hue City), who received a heart transplant from a deceased brain-dead donor, had made a good recovery and was discharged from the hospital. This was the 23rd successful heart transplant performed at the hospital and the last of six recipients who received organs and tissues from the same brain-dead donor to be discharged.

On the evening of June 19, at Tinh Tam Lake, the Department of Tourism hosted “Thuc Thuy Show,” an art and culinary performance that serves as one of the highlights of the 2026 Hue Lotus Festival, taking place from June 19 to 21.

Against the backdrop of the Perfume River, the elegant melodies of Hue Royal Court Music intertwined with the youthful rhythms of J-pop performed by Japanese singer Kawanishi Natsuki, along with a series of impressive artistic performances from South Korea, set the stage for a vibrant and colorful opening ceremony of Hue International Music Week 2026 on the evening of June 13.

On June 11th, Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital, in collaboration with ReSurge International, completed a program providing surgery for maxillofacial deformities, cleft lip and palate, and craniofacial abnormalities, combined with professional training for doctors at the hospital’s Department of Plastic, Aesthetic and Maxillofacial Surgery.

On the morning of June 5th, at Duyet Thi Duong Theater in Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized an experimental performance program titled “Practicing Huế music notation and the interpretation method,” drawing the attention of researchers, artisans, and lovers of traditional music.

On the morning of June 6, as part of the series of activities under “Lang Co - World Beautiful Bay 2026”, a sailing performance on the Bay’s waters was held for the first time.

Amid the cool mountain air of Bach Ma National Park, beneath a star-filled sky and alongside the gentle murmur of streams flowing through the park’s majestic landscape, a group of young performers from Hon Viet Event treated visitors to an emotionally musical night show with “Symphony No. 5: A Date with the Clouds and Sky”.
