On the morning of June 23rd, the Organizing Board of Hue-ICT Challenge 2024 awarded prizes for the creative information technology (IT) product competition to participated college and university students and reckoned up the Hue-ICT Challenge 2024.

Recently, the Open Data product of Thua Thien Hue province, the Provincial Center of Information Technology (HueCIT) won the second prize in the field of IT, Electronics and Telecommunications (no first prize) at the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Technical Creation Competition 2022.

On the morning of December 8, at the awarding ceremony for the Make in Vietnam Awards 2022 within the framework of the National Forum on Developing Digital Technology Businesses 2022 (VFTE 2022), organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications, "The smart urban services platform in Thua Thien Hue Province (Hue-S)” was honored to win the Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product Awards 2022, making it the Top 10 Best Digital Products for Digital Society.

On November 11, the Internet safety and Digital skills Experience Day for students in Thua Thien Hue was organized by Vietnet Information Technology and Communication Center (Vietnet - ITC), Meta Corporation in collaboration with the provincial Research and Development Institute.

The Provincial Information Technology and Electronics and Telecommunication Association (HueDITA) has just coordinated with SOS Hue Children’s Village to organize a program on present giving and signing a cooperation agreement between the two organizations to help and support the children in SOS Hue Children’s Village be eligible to access technology backgrounds, as well as orient themselves, access to careers in the field of IT and communication.

Aside from igniting the passion and excitement of school students and university students in the field of information technology (IT), the success of the Hue-ICT Challenge 2022 competition opens up many prospects and contributes to realizing the orientation of high-quality IT human resources development of the province.

On August 12, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a meeting with Bespin Global Company (Korea) on proposals for IT human resource training program for the province and some other research proposals related to information technology.

In the era of information explosion, especially information on the Internet alongside modern media, the mobile film projection is almost rarely mentioned, and it is joked that it is the technology of a "beggars of the past" time. However, in fact, for remote areas, the mobile movie film projection is seen as a cultural need and an effective information channel.

Not only brings many large Information Technology (IT) systems into operation (including online public service system, banking electronic payment system, and bank coordination system), the State Treasury also systematizes data to help promote administrative reform and increase operational efficiency.
