Hue-S platform wins the Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product Awards 2022

HNN.VN - On the morning of December 8, at the awarding ceremony for the Make in Vietnam Awards 2022 within the framework of the National Forum on Developing Digital Technology Businesses 2022 (VFTE 2022), organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications, "The smart urban services platform in Thua Thien Hue Province (Hue-S)” was honored to win the Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product Awards 2022, making it the Top 10 Best Digital Products for Digital Society.

The award had attracted more than 200 entries. After the process of scientific and objective review and evaluation, the organizing committee selected the 40 most deserving nominees to be honored at the awarding ceremony for the Make in Vietnam Digital Technology Product Awards 2022. "The smart urban services platform in Thua Thien Hue Province (Hue-S)” was honored in the Top 10 Best Digital Products for Digital Society.

The digital social platform of Hue-S, which was launched in 2019, is a typification in building a friendly and modern government to serve the people. Via the Hue-S, more than 23 smart city services have been deployed, helping to solve the problem of too many apps for the people; at the same time, establishing a unified platform connecting the State, businesses and the people. According to statistics from the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Hue-S has seen more than 800,000 app downloads so far.

The locals’ reports are one of the pioneering and outstanding services on the Hue-S platform. Up to now, over 80,000 reports have been received and processed, with the participation of 230 related units, and the satisfaction rate is nearly 80 percent. Thereby, a digital process has been formed in term of solving social problems; reducing the administrative process in handling reports from the locals.

In addition, the Hue-S has also timely supported the people in the prevention and control of natural disasters, storms, floods, and the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as ensuring the social order and safety, and protecting the environment; making an important contribution to the formation of a digital society in the fields of education, healthcare, tourism, while improving and enhancing the quality of life for the people.

With a new version of Hue-S, more smart urban services have been integrated into to this platform, so as to serve the needs of many user groups with separate interfaces and functions, including the groups of citizens, businesses, the State, and visitors. By 2025, the basic goal is to build the Hue-S into a popular platform for digital connectivity of socio-ecological system in Thua Thien Hue Province, in accordance with the Resolution on digital transformation of the Provincial Party Committee.
