The People's Committee of Hue City has issued Plan No. 318/KH-UBND to implement the Action Program for carrying out the Politburo's Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW on the development of Vietnamese culture in the new era. More than a timely move to translate a major central policy into concrete action, the plan marks an important milestone, demonstrating that Hue is choosing the right path for its development in the years ahead.

The second session of the 9th Hue City People's Council for the 2026 - 2031 term is scheduled to take place on July 10th - 11th. The Council is expected to consider and adopt 21 important resolutions, focusing on public investment, finance and state budget, digital transformation, science and technology, social welfare, and policies for public officials and civil servants in the context of implementing the two-tier local government model.

In the context of the rapidly growing experiential tourism trend, cuisine is no longer viewed as a supplementary service but has become an important competitive edge for the tourism industry.

On the afternoon of June 25, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University held a graduation ceremony and awarded graduation degrees to more than 1,100 new doctors, pharmacists and bachelor's graduates from full-time program 2026. At the scientific conference themed “Hue in the 40 years of renewal process alongside the country (1986 - 2026)”, organized by Hue City Association of Historical Science on May 12, experts stated that over the past 40 years, the process of renewal has produced historically significant achievements, contributing to enhancing Vietnam’s position and prestige on the international stage. For Hue, important transformations have been made in promoting its potential and advantages, especially its cultural heritage value.

In the context of declining enrollment, career guidance and admissions counseling for specialized arts programs aimed at students are considered an important stepping stone to spark interest and identify future talent.
