During a career orientation session at Byron Nelson High School in Texas, USA, my daughter and I had the opportunity to experience an exceptionally well-organized Culinary Arts vocational training model. In the U.S. education system, students are guided toward basic career paths as soon as they enter middle school, preparing them for vocational training in high school if they choose not to pursue a university pathway.

On the afternoon of October 14th, as part of sidelines activities of the 5th Regional Conference of the Organization of World Heritage Cities - Asia-Pacific Region (OWHC-AP), Hue City Department of Education and Training organized a World Heritage Quiz Competition in the form of a Rung Chuong Vang (“Ring the Golden Bell”) game for local high school students.

On the morning of October 3, over 3,300 students in the city area officially participated in the City-level Examination to Select Excellent High School Students for the academic year 2025 - 2026, held at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted. On the afternoon of September 6, the Chan May Port Border Guard Station, in coordination with the Chan May - Lang Co Commune Health Station and Thua Luu High School, organized a training and outreach conference on drowning prevention for students before the rainy and stormy season in 2025.

On the morning of August 15, at the Hall of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, teachers and students of the school had a special meeting with Professor Dao Hai Long, who won Gold Medals at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) in 1994 and 1995.
