On the evening of January 11th, in Trung Son Commune (A Luoi District), the Border Guard Command of Hue City, in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, organized the flagship program “Border Spring warms the people’s hearts” in celebration of the At Ty Lunar New Year - 2025.

Inside of Thai Hoa Palace - “the heart” of Hue Imperial Citadel, the exhibition titled “Thai Hoa aspiration” takes visitors immerse into the journey of exploring the deep of history and enjoying timeless cultural values.

On December 31, the Trade Union and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hue Central Hospital organized a voluntary blood donation festival themed “White Blouse, Red Heart”. 350 staff members of the unit, including doctors and nurses from various departments and centers across both units, participated in the event.

The heart of a 24-year-old man traveled over 600 kilometers from Hanoi to Hue, bringing life to a peer suffering from severe heart failure. This is the 14th heart transplant performed at Hue Central Hospital and the 13th heart transplant across Vietnam by the hospital.

After three years of dedicating the maximum possible resources in terms of finance, and human resources, etc., Thai Hoa Palace - the heart of Hue Imperial Citadel - has officially returned, coinciding with this year's Vietnamese Cultural Heritage Day (November 23).

As a routine, every Tuesday night at Ca Hue (Hue-Singing) Club belonging to Thua Thien Hue Culture, Information and Sports Center at 25 Le Loi Street, Excellent Artist Quynh Hoa comes early to burn splinters of agawood in a small urn placed on the performing mat. “I am always worried that time passes by too quickly while I am too slow to do many things for my children and grandchildren in the future”, elder Hanh expressed his concern upon gazing at Truong Son (Annamite) mountain range in the distance. The heart donated from Bach Mai Hospital has begun to beat its first rhythms in the body of a patient, marking a successful journey of life transfer. This is a record-breaking transplant, with the heart implantation taking just over 50 minutes at Hue Central Hospital.

Inspired by the phoenix (“Linh phung” in Vietnamese), a symbol of eternal grace and happiness, the 12 ao dai collections showcased at the recent “Linh phung” Ao dai Festival have left deep impressions and emotions in the hearts of the public and audience.

Though without the vibrant flowers adorning the streets and alleys, nor the sweet confections filling every kitchen, the excitement and national pride on Independence Day remain undiminished in the hearts of every Vietnamese citizen. This sacred and eternal spirit continues to shine through the colours of the flag and the clothes worn in the rhythm of today's life.
