With considerable room and momentum for development, Hue City has many advantages in pursuing a modern, green and sustainable industrial sector. However, for industry to become a true engine of growth and contribute to the city’s goal of double-digit economic expansion, a comprehensive set of coordinated solutions is needed.

The City Historical Science Association set out this goal at its 7th Congress (2026 - 2031 term), held on August 25.

The 4th Hue Sports Festival, a sports event for community health, is taking place from July 17 to August 21. More than just a community sports festival, it is also designed to pursue broader and longer-term goals.

To advance the education development goals set out in Politburo Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW, National Assembly Resolution No. 248/2025/QH15, and Government Decree No. 271/2026/ND-CP on free textbooks for general education, the city’s leaders have approved a policy to provide free textbooks to all students across the city starting from the 2026-2027 academic year.

Hue University is at a juncture of opportunity and development requirements on its journey toward becoming a National University before 2030. On July 11th, Vietnam's Ministry of Health, in coordination with Hue City People's Committee, Hue Central Hospital, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association, organized a free health screening program for more than 1.000 residents in Binh Dien and Khe Tre communes. In the process of constructing a digital government, a digital economy, and a digital society, Hue City has gradually established a synchronized and modern digital infrastructure foundation. Nevertheless, realizing the goal of becoming a fully digital city requires not only strong commitment from local authorities but also the active participation of technology enterprises in infrastructure investment, solution deployment, and the sharing of hands-on experience.
