By hosting the International Heritage and Music Festival - Hue Wonderverse Music Fest 2026, together with a wide range of activities, events, and festivals, Hue attracted large crowds of visitors for sightseeing and cultural experiences during the National Day Holiday.

This year’s National Day vacation (September 2nd) is again bringing a surge of tourists to Hue. Alongside careful facility preparation, many accommodation businesses in the city have proactively refreshed their services, paying attention to even small details in the guest experience to give visitors a joyful, comfortable holiday.

Rather than simply introducing familiar destinations and famous attractions in Hue, TikTokers and Facebookers (digital content creators on TikTok and Facebook) are now offering new perspectives on the city’s tourism and people through short videos and candid reviews of their experiences. This approach is bringing Hue to life on social media while giving travelers from around the world more interesting information to inspire their own experiences in the city.

Rather than focusing on sheer visitor numbers, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center is shifting its service strategy at the Imperial City and other heritage sites toward product selectivity and enhanced visitor experiences, to attract high-spending tourists.

As Da Nang rises to become a premier tourism destination with increasingly diverse and distinctive experiences, cultural events, festivals and community activities play an important role in creating the city’s unique appeal. For the first time, Bun bo Hue (Hue beef noodle soup) will be celebrated through a nationwide festival. Featuring more than 80 food stalls, live culinary demonstrations serving hundreds of visitors, a stage production recounting the dish's more than 400-year history, and a variety of interactive experiences, these will turn Thuong Bac Park to become a gathering place for food enthusiasts from July 23rd to 26th.

If the past 5 years were a period of building a ‘data reservoir’, the next 5 years will be a time of forming a ‘data power plant’, where data is not only stored, but also harnessed to create new values. This also requires management agencies to shift from a mindset of managing data to the one of exploiting and promoting its values, bringing heritage closer to the public while opening new opportunities for economic development based on heritage.

On the afternoon of July 8th, at Co Mat Vien - Tam Toa, Hue Festival 2026 Organizing Committee officially launched the photography contest ‘Hue - Ancient Capital, New Experiences’. The competition is part of Hue Festival 2026 and aims to promote Hue as a city of heritage, culture, ecology, scenic beauty, and hospitality to both domestic and international audiences.

From June 26 to 28, at 62 Trang Tien Street, Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi, the distinctive products, specialties, and cultural values of the Ancient Capital came together in the ‘Hue Thuong’ program, part of ‘The Vitality of Vietnamese Goods’ programme No. 8. The program not only brought the essence of Hue to the heart of the Capital, but also created a space connecting local products with consumers nationwide through a combination of in-person experiences and e-commerce.

Nowadays, visitors have increasingly high demands for service quality and experiences. They desire to experience the daily lives, activities, and occupations of the locals in the most authentic way possible to better understand the culture and people of the places they visit.
