On the morning of January 10, Hue City People’s Committee held an inauguration and handover ceremony for 3 houses in Khe Tre, while confirming the completion of five newly built homes and repairs to 40 others, achieving 100% coverage for eligible households across the city.

In addition to health insurance coverage, social insurance and voluntary insurance also achieved encouraging results, bringing the total revenue from these three types of insurance to exceed the set targets.

“Each journalist chooses their own path to delve deep into the field of words. I’m fortunate to be born and work as a journalist right in the sacred land of Hue Ancient Capital, a place rich in cultural values. Although Hue’s literary heritage is “tranquil and moss-covered”, to me, it is always captivating”.

As part of the Book and Reading Culture Day program in 2025, on April 24, Hue City Library summarized a book cover design contest about Hue with the theme “Hue City, my hometown”.

More than 200 books on Hue and the Hue Bookcase project, along with 50 entries from a book cover design contest themed “Hue City – My Hometown” by secondary school students, were on display at Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025.

Just about 30 kilometers away, Quang Loi Lagoon is not far from the center of Hue City. It's located in Quang Loi Commune, Quang Dien District - a low-lying area rich in cultural identity. Covering approximately 800 hectares, the lagoon is part of the Tam Giang lagoon system.
