The 8th ASEAN Heritage Parks Conference (AHP8) was hosted by Vietnam in Ha Long (Quang Ninh) from December 2 to 5, organized through the Department of Nature Conservation and Biodiversity, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. At this event, Bach Ma National Park was honored to be presented with the ASEAN Heritage Park certificate.

The “Digital identification and Exhibition of Nguyen Dynasty antiquities” solution of Hue Monuments Conservation Center, has just won the Vietnam Digital Awards 2025. This achievement affirms Hue's pioneering position in the journey to bring heritage into the digital age.

In celebration of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day on November 23, Hue Monuments Conservation Center will organize a series of educational, exhibition, and experiential activities to honor the heritage values of the Ancient Capital. These activities aim to spread appreciation for cultural heritage within the community, especially among young people.

Hue Monuments of Conservation Center is gradually building up a huge heritage archive, which is known as a foundation for a model of smart heritage management, which not only preserves but also creates new values for the work of cultural - economic development.

On the morning of November 21st, at the Nguyen Dynasty’s Privy Council, or Co Mat Vien (Tam Toa), Hue Monuments Conservation Center, in collaboration with the University of Arts - Hue University, held the opening of a series of exhibitions and displays in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23rd).

On the occasion of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23), Hue Monuments of Conservation Center will offer free entrance to the heritage sites under the Hue Complex of Monuments to all Vietnamese citizens.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has issued a document requesting Hue City People’s Committee to prioritize funding and assign Hue Monuments Conservation Center to continue reviewing the areas along the walls of Hue Imperial Citadel that are at high risk of blowing off.

Faced with increasingly extreme climate changes, disaster prevention and mitigation for Hue’s heritage sites is no longer solely the responsibility of the conservation sector.

As part of the 5th Regional Conference of Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC) - Asia-Pacific Region, the discussion session on the afternoon of October 15th became one of the most notable highlights of the event. The exchange focused on policies, management experience, and solutions to improve quality of life in cities endowed with unique heritage values.

In his latest speech, Mr. Le Ngoc Tuan, Head of Hue City Forest Protection Department informed that the City People’s Committee has just decided to establish the Bac Hai Van Landscape Protection Zone, located in Chan May - Lang Co Commune.
