On the occasion of the Vesak celebration for Buddhist Era 2570 (2026 CE), on the morning of May 29th, Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Prime Minister, led a delegation representing the Government and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to visit and extend congratulations to the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hue City and Buddhist dignitaries in the locality.

A ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27th, 1946 – March 27th, 2026), organized by the Department of Culture and Sports, was held on the afternoon of March 27 at the City Culture and Cinema Center. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, attended and extended congratulations and encouragement.

On the occasion of the 71st anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors’ Day, on the morning of February 27, Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, visited and congratulated the leaders, staff, and medical teams at several medical facilities in the area.

On November 18, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung visited and extended congratulations to the staff, lecturers, and teachers of Hue University and the Department of Education and Training on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (20/11/1982 - 20/11/2025).
