On the morning of August 29, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of the city, in coordination with the Department of Health, Hue Central Hospital, and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, held a national scientific conference themed ‘Climate Change and Non-Communicable Diseases: Issues and Solutions’.

On the morning of August 25, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society held a conference in Hue to review the implementation process and share the outcomes of the project ‘Supporting the Recovery and Reconstruction of Schools Affected by Floods in 2025 in Hue and Danang’.

On the morning of August 21st, Hue Central Hospital, in coordination with Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, opened the 14th Annual Hue Scientific Conference on Cancer Prevention and Control. From August 19 to 21, Hue Central Hospital hosted the 2nd International Thalassemia Conference, gathering 25 international delegates from 12 countries along with over 200 domestic doctors and experts.

On the morning of August 19, the Department of Science and Technology held a training conference to guide local organizations, businesses, cooperatives, and trademark owners across the city on registering, managing, and commercializing intellectual property rights for trademarks, collective marks, and certification marks

From August 6 to 8, the University of Sciences, Hue University, in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Catalysis and Adsorption, organized the 13th National Scientific Conference under the theme ‘Catalysis and adsorption for the development of national strategic technologies’.

On the afternoon of July 28, Hue Department of Science and Technology held a conference to launch, introduce and provide guidance on the 2026 enterprise innovation survey. The event attracted nearly 100 businesses, along with representatives from relevant agencies and organizations.

On the afternoon of July 27, Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh chaired a conference to review the progress of the ‘500 Days and Nights Campaign’ to accelerate the search, recovery, and identification of fallen soldiers’ remains, along with the program to replace temporary and dilapidated houses for the biological children of resistance fighters exposed to Agent Orange/dioxin across the city.

On the afternoon of July 23rd, Hue Festival Organizing Committee held a press conference to announce Hue Wonderverse Music Fest 2026 - International Heritage and Music Festival. The event marks the first time Hue introduces a festival designed to develop into an annual international cultural and music festival IP, contributing to the growth of the cultural industries and promoting the image of the Ancient Capital.
