On the morning of June 5th, Hue Central Hospital hosted an International Scientific Conference between Hue Central Hospital and Taichung General Hospital (Taiwan - China) with the participation of numerous leading domestic and international experts, professors, and physicians.

On June 4, a delegation from Hue City, led by Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, had a conference to meet with Chinese tourism businesses and investors in Beijing, China. The delegation also had the participation of representatives from Hue City Department of Tourism and Hue Center for Investment Promotion, Trade, and Enterprise Support.

More than 142 visually impaired women have received vocational training, and over 68,000 gift packages have been distributed; these were among the notable achievements highlighted at the conference reviewing 10 years of implementing the coordinated support program for visually impaired women (2016 - 2026 period), and the five-year review of the Compassionate Homes program, held on the morning of June 2 at the City Association of the Blind.

On May 30, the 2026 Imperial City Scientific Conference on infectious diseases was held at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University. The event attracted nearly 250 delegates and almost 20 leading experts in infectious diseases, microbiology, and tropical diseases from across Vietnam.

On the morning of May 27, the University of Economics, Hue University held a press conference to announce 4 new academic programs for the 2026 admissions cycle, including Digital Marketing, International Business, Master's in Accounting, and PhD in Economic Management.

On the evening of May 25, the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2026 held a press conference to kick off the Hue International Music Week 2026, a highlight of the Summer Festival - featuring the participation of 8 domestic and international art troupes, along with many renowned singers.

On May 23, the city People’s Committee, in collaboration with the World Wide Fund in Vietnam, held a Conference to review the “Hue – Plastic-reduced city in Central Vietnam” Project (TVA Project) for the 2021–2026 period.

On May 22, the City People’s Committee, in coordination with the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency (LuxDev) and WWF-Vietnam, organized the conference on “Unlocking Green Investment for Nature-based Development in Tam Giang - Cau Hai Lagoon”, with the participation of representatives from Central and local ministries and agencies, international organizations, investment funds, and development partners.

On the morning of May 21, the People’s Committee of Chan May - Lang Co Commune held a press conference to announce a series of cultural, tourism, and sports activities taking place within the framework of the “Lang Co - World Beautiful Bay 2026” program, and to share information with the press and media agencies.

The information was announced at the “Standardizing Quality and Enhancing Capacity in Primary Care and Family Medicine Practice” international conference, organized by the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University over two days, May 19th and 20th.
