On the afternoon of November 21st, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) held a workshop titled: “Solutions to Improve the Qualifications of Research work force, Technology, and Business Management Personnel to Apply and Master High Technology and Advanced Technology in Order to Increase Productivity and Quality of Key Products in the City, Aiming toward Developing National Products”. The discussion focused on solutions to elevate Hue cajeput essential oil into a national-level product.

On October 25 in Hue City, Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), in coordination with Hue Football Association, launched the Phase 2 of AFC/VFF A-Level Football Coaching Course. The course aims to enhance the professional expertise of football coaches nationwide.

The Department of Education and Training (DOET) has just announced the results of the City-level Excellent High School Student Exam for the 2025–2026 academic year.

On the morning of October 3, over 3,300 students in the city area officially participated in the City-level Examination to Select Excellent High School Students for the academic year 2025 - 2026, held at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted. This activity is held annually to identify and nurture talented students, while also assessing the quality of learning and teaching in schools.

From October 3 to 5, the Department of Education and Training will organize the City-level Exam to Select Excellent High School Students in the academic year 2025-2026 at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted.

On the morning of September 7th, the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front of Kim Long Ward (Hue City) solemnly held a ceremony to announce the decision and receive the certificate recognizing Van Xuan Communal House as a city-level historical relic.

On August 24, the City Military Command directed Regiment 6 to deploy 100 officers and soldiers along with vehicles to grassroots areas to help people brace for Typhoon No. 5 (Kajiki). At the same time, the City Military Command directed local military forces to step up support at the grassroots level, coordinating with locals to gear up for flooding and typhoon, and minimize damage to property and loss of life.

The above activity was recently organized by the Hue City Center for Disease Control (Hue CDC) with the aim of early detection of hypertension, preventing complications, and managing treatment for commune-level healthcare workers and collaborators in the communes of Vinh Loc, Huong Loc, Phu Vang, and Phu Vinh.

In just the first two days (July 1st – 2nd) of implementing the two-tier local government model, over 846 applications were received at 40 Public Administrative Service Centers at the ward and commune levels in Hue City. The dedication of civil servants and volunteers, along with the application of technology, has made a positive impression, helping residents quickly adapt to the administrative procedures under the new two-tier local government system.

On June 25, Vice Chairmen of Hue City People’s Committee, including Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, and Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, conducted field inspections and working sessions with local authorities regarding preparations and operation of the two-level local government model. Leaders from relevant departments and sectors also attended the working sessions.
