On the evening of September 21, Hue City Young Entrepreneurs Association, in coordination with Kim Dong Park, and the Youth Union Chapter of the Faculty of Marketing and Commerce, University of Economics, Hue University, organized a Mid-Autumn Festival program themed ‘Enjoying Mid-Autumn Festival’ for children facing difficult circumstances in the city.

On the morning of August 30, at the Duong No Ward Party Committee Hall (Hue City), the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of Duong No Ward, in coordination with the ‘Tu Chap canh tuong lai’ Club, Co.opmart Hue One-Member Limited Liability Company, and other accompanying units and individuals, organized the ‘Supporting children to school’ program in 2026 under the theme ‘Wings for dreams - Steady steps to the future’.

On the morning of August 29, the Hue City Youth and Children’s Center, in collaboration with the Vietnam Buddhist Martial Arts Schools, organized the 2nd Expanded Traditional Vietnamese Martial Arts Club Tournament of Buddhist Martial Arts Schools in 2026.

On August 28, Hue Newspaper and Radio - Television, in coordination with its Youth Union, Thua Thien Hue Construction Joint Stock Company, the City Social Policy Bank, Hong Duc Bookstore, and benefactors, organized the ‘Supporting children to school - Mid-Autumn Festival for children’ and social welfare support program in 2026 in A Luoi 2 Commune.

On August 23, in Huong An and Hoa Chau wards, Hue City Women’s Union, in coordination with the Children of Viet Nam (COV), organized a program to provide livelihood models for single mothers and scholarships and learning support packages for children facing difficult circumstances in the two wards.

On the morning of August 18, at the Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh’s childhood in Duong No Village (Duong No Ward), Hue City Youth and Children’s Center, in coordination with Ho Chi Minh Museum of Hue City, organized the 2026 history-learning journey ‘Following Uncle Ho’s Footsteps - Pride in Our Homeland’s Traditions’.

From early morning, Thuan An Beach in Hue city is already bustling with swimmers, joggers, children playing on the sand and visitors taking photos. More than just a beach destination, it is also a place where local life unfolds, with leisure activities, seafood trading and beachside services coming together to create the unique rhythm of a coastal community at sunrise.

From June 12 to 19, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital collaborated with Surgical Volunteers International (SVI) of the United States to carry out a humanitarian surgery program for children and adolescents suffering from congenital deformities, as well as burn and trauma-related disabilities.

On June 3, at Ly Tu Trong Park in Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City Department of Health, in coordination with the City’s Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights, the Social Work and Child Protection Center, together with various units, organizations, and benefactors, organized the “Festival for children in special circumstances 2026”. The event aimed to provide meaningful encouragement to hundreds of children in difficult circumstances across the city on the occasion of the Action Month for Children 2026.

On June 2nd, the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with Care for Children organization, held a working session on the implementation of a project to strengthen family-based alternative care for children in special circumstances during the 2026 - 2028 period in Hue. The program is expected to help improve the effectiveness of child protection and care efforts, enabling children to live in safe, stable, and loving family environments.
