Nearly 200 children with disabilities took part in a series of activities as part of the program “Tet - Connecting Love”, designed for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

On the afternoon of December 21, Hue City Department of Health organized the 2025 Child Drowning Prevention Knowledge and Skills Contest. This is a practical activity aimed at raising awareness and equipping students with water safety skills, while spreading the responsibility of families, schools, and the whole society in protecting children from the risk of drowning.

On November 28th, at the City Institute for Development Studies, Hue City Children’s Rights Protection Association organized a training session on reproductive health care skills and water safety education for its staff and members. The program is part of the Association’s 2025 activity plan and was carried out in coordination with the organization HueHelp.

On the morning of November 18th, a working delegation from the Central Youth Union, led by Mr. Bui Quang Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, and First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, visited Hue City to congratulate Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20th) and to give gifts to children and youth affected by the flood in Hue City.

After many years of sustaining their lives through regular blood transfusions, many pediatric patients suffering from congenital hemolytic anemia (Thalassemia) have now found the “light at the end of the tunnel” thanks to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at Hue Central Hospital. From these successful transplant cases, a door of hope has opened, bringing the children a healthy, normal life and complete joy after so many difficult days.

On the evening of October 5th, at Tran Hung Dao Secondary School in A Luoi 3 commune, the City Border Guard Command organized the program “Borderland - Mid-Autumn Festival Night” for children in border areas. ​

In the days leading up to the Mid-Autumn Festival, the children in my neighborhood have been joyfully practicing. Calling it a “unicorn dance troupe” sounds grand, but in fact, it’s just about a dozen kids from grades 1 to 7. One contributes an old drum, another brings a unicorn head or a Mr. Earth mask, while some dig through closets for their mothers’ Ao dai, … all gathered together to form an eager, lively team of little unicorn dancers.

On October 3, the Department of Education and Training organized a training conference to enhance professional capacity to meet the demands of educational innovation; and provide guidance on early detection, early intervention, and inclusive education for preschool administrators and teachers in the city.

On October 1, Green Lotus Fund, the Youth Union of Hue Newspaper and Radio - Television, in coordination with Thua Thien Hue Construction Joint Stock Company, Hue City Social Policy Bank, Hue Export Garment Joint Stock Company, and Le Domaine De Cocodo Hotel, organized the “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children” program at Hong Thuy Primary and Secondary School (A Luoi 1 Commune).

Hue Monuments Conservation Centre has announced the program “Hue Royal Mid-Autumn Festival 2025”, an event held within the framework of Hue Festival 2025. The program promises a variety of special activities for visitors, local residents, and especially children.

Reading plays an important role for everyone, especially for students. However, not all parents have the right method to inspire and guide their children to develop the habit of reading and love of for books.

In a space adorned with traditional Tet decorations, over 40 students from various primary students in Hue city area dressing traditional ao dai are immersing themselves into cultural folk games on Tet days.
