After graduating with a law degree and working in Hanoi for some time, Ho Thuong Liu (born in 1993) decided to return to A Luoi 1 Commune to start his own business. Drawing on the A Lin Stream that was part of his childhood, he developed a community-based tourism model centered on stilt houses, local cuisine, and the cultural traditions of the Bru - Van Kieu people. From a once-pristine and lesser-known destination, A Lin Stream has gradually attracted visitors, contributing to the livelihoods of local residents in the highlands.

On June 9th, a delegation of South Korean businesses led by Professor Heather J.Y. Greene of Koshin University of Medicine visited and attended a working session with Hue City People's Committee. In recent days, the road leading to Ha Cang, now part of Dan Dien Commune (formerly Quang Phu Commune), has been busier than usual, as streams of visitors arrive to explore local golden cantaloupe farms. Coming here, visitors can enjoy free check-in opportunities, try freshly harvested melons right in the greenhouses, and leave with not only vibrant photos but also plump, fragrant cantaloupes to take home.

On June 4, a delegation from Hue City, led by Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, had a conference to meet with Chinese tourism businesses and investors in Beijing, China. The delegation also had the participation of representatives from Hue City Department of Tourism and Hue Center for Investment Promotion, Trade, and Enterprise Support.

On the evening of May 30, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, held the final round of the 7th Science Innovation and Agricultural Startup Idea Competition 2026, drawing the participation of lecturers, students, scientists, and business representatives.

On the morning of May 27, the University of Economics, Hue University held a press conference to announce 4 new academic programs for the 2026 admissions cycle, including Digital Marketing, International Business, Master's in Accounting, and PhD in Economic Management.

The street festival themed “Cultural Colors”, within the framework of Hue International Art Festival Week 2024, attracted the participation of hundreds of artists from over 15 domestic and international art troupes and groups.
